Jpilot's MiG flight story in the sky of Moscow, Russia. Jpilot's Pictures Posted: 11 June, 2003My flight story @ Zhukovsky Airbase on April 30, 2003. We came to Zhukovsky at approximately 9AM. Passed the main gate and drove to the pilot's building. Ladies helped me get into the flight gear and I passed my medical. After that I had a flight briefing where I was given instructions on how to react in different situations in the air and on the ground. The whole procedure took roughly one hour and we were on our way... On the field MiG-25 was already prepped by the engineers and was ready to fly. Unfortunately the weather was quite poor that day and visibility was limited. I don't have many pictures but the rest of the story is pretty much can be seen in my photo album. All I can tell that MiG-25 climbed up to 26.5 kilometers in about 10 minutes showing absolutely magnificent view on Earth! You can see the curvature of our planet and black sky above you! I wish I could fly every month!
