ok, this is what i am aware of. Su-30 will kick ass off f-15 in a dogfight by being twice as maneuverable and its ability to stop in the air. there is no comparison here provided pilots have similar skills.
in Su you do not have to think about your aircraft limits and weather you will fly beyond envelope. you just do what you need to do.
if f-15 is behind you - you just go in a tight turn and by the end of the 360 you will be behind. Su-30 does the full turn in 10 seconds (36 degrees per second, next american generation fighter "raptor" will be doing max. 24 degrees per second) while f-15 barely makes it in 21 seconds.as for avionics all i know Sukhoi still working on developing state-of-the-art system to protect pilots and make it easy to use. how far they went - nobody knows. whoever tells you that they know - they probably have no clue whatsoever or they should expect FSB to be on their tail sooner than they think.
all threads here are no better than pointing a finger in the sky. we still do not know the real data on any russian jet as well as on any other military projects.
