Who said USSR lost?
Dudes, all written here is pretty close to the official opinion and real things except one very important detail. Gorbi was never for USSR or Democracy - he was always for his own pocket.
Nothing he has done brought anything good to people. He is not the brightest person in the world (I assume President at least has to speak the language of his Country without making mistakes which he still unable to do) and all he ever cared about is "How Much!"
So hell with Gorbi and this drunken moron Eltsin.

Two idiots killed the whole system that held the World order!

I think Russian should rebuild its former empire as a world leader. Military Balance is extremely important in maintaining World's Peace.

Don't hold your breath for Andropov!
He was something similar to Stalin and nothing good would eventually come out of his presedency.
Now we have smaller version of Andropov - Putin :-)

Well,
by my experience (I also lived in USSR during Andropov) there were good and bad things.
It looked like we gonna go back to 30's very soon.

Hello, you can't understand that Putin is the best politician and the bbbbeeeesssstttttt president Russia had ever had. I love Russia and everything russian and I am very happy that Russia has a energetical strong smart and clever and . person, called Vladimir Vladimirovich Putin. Nowhere in the world exists such a good politician, that's why I can't understand your opinion about this man. My politicians in Bulgaria are such a shitty, stupid, corrupt people, who don't care about the country. But Russia has the chance, which she never had. To rebuild its economy, to make everything stronger and to play a great role in international policy.
I am last 4 year in the Sofia Univercity of national and world economy and I have to graduate and to write about "Economical and trade relations between Russia and European Union".
