In cold war - KGB was the best.

Now - Mosad I think is the best, so second CIA (due to close ralations b2een USA and Israel)
FSB third - but is questionable.

We will know after 50 years or maybe later.

To my mind:
1 - Mosad
2 - CIA or FSB - yes, yes FSB on the second place in my opinion.
3 - MI6 SIS. So very harshly they come down in Moscow with their "stone".

Mossad are too high profile. Their agents are constantly getting caught, jailed and prosecuted. If they were as good as so many people claim, they wouldn't be getting caught more then agents from larger agencies like the CIA or FSB. The reason people believe they are better is because of this myth that has been perpetuated for so long that the Israeli's are the best at practically everything. Yeah, they have a thriving arms industry and yes they've done impressively in wars against their neighbours. But this doesn't mean their F-15's are better then India's Su-30MKI's . and people do still claim that despite the fact that the Su-30MKI uses more advanced, Israeli designed avionics then their own F-15. IMO no country of less then 10 million people can realistically be considered so much more advanced then everyone else in armoured vehicles, aircraft and espionage without at least a little bit of it being based on ignorance or propaganda.

My top list would include NSA, CIA, FSB but to be honest I don't know how to organise them. The CIA effectively run 10-30% of the worlds nation-states. The NSA manages to intercept every phone call in Australia, New Zealand, Britain, Canada and the USA and the FSB is filled with former KGB agents who no doubt retain the qualities that helped the USSR assist the people of third world nations around the world against corporate oppression. However they are no doubt a shadow of the KGB's former glory.

RE: Mi-24 "Hind" vs AH-64"Apache"

Dear americans, you love to critisize Russian hardware but let me tell you one thing, success of a millitary operation depends not only on one element(i.e.AH-64) but other various elements, Mi-24 is better when we talk about "mission flexibility" it can deploy its infantrymen by ropes and then give them air-support. in case evacuating injured servicemen and other jobs. And with upgraded versions having NVC, 'Hind' has become quit lethal even at night.

Wow. That is what helicopters are made for; there is nothign special about that. AH-64 is a dedicated attack helicopter. If you think that a chopper is better because it does all those things, compare it with a multirole/utility helicopter.
