Favorite Jets.
List your favorite Jets.

I hope this does not turn into a bash session, questions reguarding ones choices are fine, but, it need not turn into heated debate.

My list(In no particular order):

MiG-29; All varients.

F-18; The original.

F-16; All varients.

F-5; Including the F-20, which like the Avro Arrow, may have been a victim of politics.

MiG-21; All varients.

BAC/EE (BAC) Lightning.

Eurofighter Typhoon.

Saab J-35F.

Saab JAS-39.

Vought F7U-3.

F-86.

MiG-15.

And with some reserve; the Su-27, and the rest of the "Flanker family. Although I'm partial to light weights, this heavy can hang with the lights in a "knife fight."

Rebate:

What is the status of the Tu-160, are they operational?

So many web-sites and magazines have conflicting information.

To: Rebate.

It was a simple question, asked out if curiosity, as opposed to conflict.
